Eco Mode
Eco Mode throttles the effect editor viewport to save CPU and GPU while you work on something else.
Toggle it with the leaf icon in the viewport toolbar — the icon turns green and a border highlights the viewport when active.

The state is saved between sessions.
Only the viewport is throttled; the nodegraph, timeline, and other panels are unaffected.
